MPhil in Legal Teaching and Research Program 2016 at National Law University, Odisha
National Law University (NLU), Odisha has invited applications for admission to M.Phil in Legal Teaching and Research Program for 2016-17 sessions.
Duration: The Program is of one & half year duration.
Number of Seats: 10 seats.
Master’s Degree in Law from any recognized University securing not less than 55% marks or its equivalent in grade; or
Master’s Degree in Law from any recognized University with 50% marks or its equivalent in grade and have had at least five years full-time teaching/judicial/professional/administrative experience in the subject; or
Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, Management Studies or Sciences from any recognized University with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent in grade; or
Obtained a Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, Management Studies or Sciences from any recognized University with 50% marks and have had at least five years full time teaching / judicial /professional /administrative experience in the subject.
Submitted application forms will to be screened, and applicants found eligible will be required to appear for an entrance exam on June 27th 2016 (Monday) in NLUO Campus only.
Successful and exempted applicants are required to appear before a panel of experts for a personal Interview. Selected applicants will be notified and intimated.
The Entrance Test shall consist of two stages.
First Stage: Entrance Exam for 150 marks (Objective test of 100 marks and subjective test of 50 marks.) of 2 hours duration.
The final selection of the applicants for the M.Phil degree program shall be made on the basis of the performance in the Interview.
Stipend: Selected Applicants will be given a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Fee structure for M.Phil in Law Teaching & Research Program:
- Application Fee Rs.3000/-
- Registration Fee Rs 60,000/-
- Coursework Exam Fees Rs.2000/-
- Hostel Fees Rs 22000/-
In addition to the above, students have to pay such sum as may be notified by the Mess Committees of the University for fooding expenses during their stay.

Interested applicants are required to send on or before June 18th 2016 duly filled application forms along with the processing cum application fee of Rs.3000/- in the form of bank draft drawn in favour of “Registrar, National Law University Odisha” and payable at Cuttack.
