Dublin Institute of Technology Centenary Scholarship Program 2016 in Ireland

The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) has invited applications from eligible applicants for Centenary Scholarship Program for 2016-17 sessions.

Scholarship Award

The scholarships will cover one-half of the value of fees for the academic year 2016-17. The scholarship is only available for DIT’s full-time, taught Masters (Level 9) Programs.

It is not available for postgraduate diploma or certificate programs; the scholarships are open to applicants from the following countries only.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must.

Have accepted their offer on DIT’s application system; applications for the scholarship will not be considered for any other status of an application.

Hold a first class honours degree from their undergraduate program, which is recognised for entry to DIT Level 9 program.

Nationality: The scholarships are open to applicants from the following countries – Brazil (applicants must have completed a year of study in any Irish higher education institution under the Sciences without Borders programme), China (including Hong Kong and Macau), India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Thailand, United States of America and Vietnam.

How to Apply?

Applicants must complete and submit the Centenary Scholarship Application on, or before the close of business of the June 07th 2016.

Applications MUST be emailed to centenary.scholarship@dit.ie

An academic panel in each College to determine suitability of the applicant will assess applications; the panel may also select reserve applicants; the decision of the panel is final.

Successful applicants will be notified by email from the International Office and will be required to accept the offer within two weeks. Failure to accept within this period will be deemed as declining the scholarship.
