CLAT 2019 – The Consortium of National Law Universities, Bengaluru has launched the new official website of Common Law Admission Test clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in. The candidates have to submit their application form online at new Clat website. The CLAT 2019 application process which was suppose to start from January 10 has been postponed by three days and will begin from January 13, 2019. The online process of CLAT 2019 application will end on March 31, 2019 and is scheduled to be held on May 12, 2019 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Common Law Admission Test commonly called CLAT is the national-level law entrance examination in India conducted for admissions to five-year integrated and postgraduate law programmes on offer in the 21 NLUs.

CLAT Exam is conducted in an offline mode. The duration of examination is two hours and consist of total 200 questions of one mark each. Each wrong answer will lead to deduction of 0.25 marks from the total score.
The first step of the application process of CLAT 2019 is registration. The aspirant need to register first by providing their personal details. The second step is to fill in other necessary information in the Application Form and upload images. The third and final step is to pay the requisite amount of the Application Fee
Candidates applying for the five-year integrated law degree should be class 12 pass or equivalent with minimum 45 per cent marks (40 % for SC/ST Candidates) There is no upper age limit for CLAT UG courses.
Candidates appearing in CLAT 2019 for postgraduate courses need have at least 50 per cent marks in LLB degree. A relaxation of 5 per cent is allowed for SC and ST category candidates.
