SSC MTS Recruitment 2018 – According to Indian Express Staff Selection Commission SSC has released the notification for SSC MTS (Multi Tasking (Non Technical) Staff Recruitment 2018. As per the report, the registration for the same has begun from November 3, 2018. The eligible candidates can start applying for the 10,000 vacancies that are expected to fill in this year through SSC MTS exam. The application forms will be available on the official website — ssc.nic.in. and the last date to submit filled in Application form is December 3, 2018. The Examination dates and admit card download date for SSC MTS 2018 are yet to be released by the Commission.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2018 – Registration Process
- Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the relevant link
- Enter all the required details in prescribed format
- Pay the requisite fee and upload all the relevant documents
- Click on submit
The Application fee of Rs.100/- for general category is to be paid by the candidates. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee.
The candidates belonging to the age group of 18 years and 25 years and had pass matriculation or its equivalent exam from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the SSC MTS 2018. However, candidates from reserved category will get age relaxation as per government norms.
SSC MTS 2018 selection is based on written examination consisted of the two papers:
Paper 1 (Objective type paper): The exam was based on general intelligence and reasoning, numerical aptitude, general English and general awareness. The exam carried a total of 150 marks and was held for duration of two hours for general candidates and two hours and 40 minutes for visually handicapped/ cerebral palsy candidates. The exam will be held in online mode.
Paper 2 (Descriptive paper): Paper-2 is, however, a pen-and-paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies. This exam was conducted for the candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the commission in Paper 1 for different categories.
