A division bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice D.B. Bhopal and Justice S.V. Bhatt on Wednesday asked the State government to place the road map for the full fledged permanent recruitment of lecturers in degree colleges.
The bench was dealing with the case filed by Jayabharat Reddy complaining that unqualified persons are teaching students in degree colleges in AP who are appointed as temporary lecturers. The bench had ordered for presence of Principal Secretary Higher Education. The bench wanted the government to tell court when they will hold State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or the National Eligibility Test (NET) and when will the posts be filled as per recruitment procedure. The case is adjourned by three weeks.
