Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit card for its upcoming UGC NET (University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test) July 2016 examination.

How to download CBSE UGC NET July 2016 Admit Card

  • Log on to the official website of the test http://cbsenet.nic.in
  • Click on the link ‘Download Admit Card’ appearing on the screen.
  • Enter Application Number and Password and submit the details.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download it and take a print out of the same.

CBSE UGC NET July 2016: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) on cbsenet.nic.in for the exam scheduled to be held on July 10.

Candidates who have scored at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible to apply for CBSE UGC NET July 2016. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed can also apply for CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam.

CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam will be conducted in 83 subjects. Candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work. The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam.

CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions Paper-I: This will be of 100 marks and the candidates need to attempt 50 out of 60. Time duration: 1¼ hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am) Paper-II: This will be of 100 marks and the candidates need to attempt all 50 questions. Time duration: 1¼ hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm) Paper-III: This will be of 150 marks and the candidates need to attempt all 75 questions. Time duration: 2½ hours (2 pm to 4.30 pm).

CBSE conducts NET twice a year on behalf of UGC. The exam will be conducted in order to select candidates for the role of assistant professor/ lecturer and for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).
